Learning center lists classes for fall term

TRESCOTT – The Cobscook Community Learning Center will offer the following classes and events through the fall season:

10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 – Grand Opening of the Don Furth Memorial Bandstand and Amphitheater: 12 hours of music, rain or shine. Admission is free and the Lubec Masons will be preparing and selling food on location. The performance schedule is available at www.thecclc.org.

9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 25 and 26 – Introduction to Blacksmithing.

9 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 – Introduction to Tree Pruning.

9-11 a.m. Saturdays, Nov. 8, 15, and 22 – Beadwork Class with Lew Richards. A $20 materials fee will be added to the cost for the course.

10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15 – Nourishing Herbs for Everyday Health. A $4 materials fee will be added to the cost for the course.

9-11 a.m. Saturdays, Dec. 6 and 13 – Quillwork Class with Lew Richards.
