DOVER-FOXCROFT – A Corinth woman has been hired as victim witness advocate for Piscataquis County.
Kyra Kimball, 31, of Corinth was hired Tuesday.
Kimball, one of 18 applicants, will begin her new job Oct. 27 at an hourly rate of $14.20. She has a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice.
“I’m ready for this job, I’m excited,” Kimball said Tuesday.
For the past three years, Kimball has worked as an adult mental health caseworker at the Charlotte White Center and she also instructs the batterer’s intervention program.
Before that, she was a full-time student and worked for the Stetson Ranch, which was a locked-down facility for juvenile delinquents.
