EASTPORT – Eastport restaurateurs Hilda and Sid Lewis are famous for their hospitality as well as their spaghetti and meatballs, so on Friday, Oct. 24, they plan to hold a fundraising dinner to benefit the Friends of the Boat School.

The first sitting will be at 5 p.m., the second at 6:30 p.m.

Lovers of great Italian food, homemade rolls from Meg McGarvey’s kitchen and a cornucopia of Eastport’s best confections will be able to enjoy them at The Blue Iris Restaurant.

Cakes, pies and other desserts will be made by many volunteers on the island.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and children under 12. Reserve tickets by calling 853-2518, or buy them in advance at Moose Island Marine or at the door.
