Dunn for Martin

As the representative for House District 18 for the past four years, I have been honored to represent the residents of Bangor’s east side, Veazie and Orono in the Legislature. The job of a legislator in these uncertain times can certainly be a challenge, and we need a leader with a steady hand and demeanor as we strive to move our state forward. We are fortunate to have such a leader in Jim Martin whom I enthusiastically endorse as my successor.

Jim knows who he is and what he stands for. And he knows the challenges we will face. As one who has been a social worker and a small-business owner, Jim has a unique skill set that will serve us well. We need a representative who understands the struggles many people face yet has the business acumen to offer solutions that will work in our ever-changing economy. What we don’t need is grandstanding. Jim impresses me as a candidate who cares more about results than his own ego, and that is precisely the kind of person we need in Augusta.

Problems are not solved by playing the blame game. A willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and an ability to quietly work with individuals across the political spectrum is truly the best way forward. Please join me in supporting Jim Martin for representative.

Rep. Mike Dunn

Bangor
