ORONO – The future of the former Webster Mill will be the topic of a meeting at 7 tonight at Birch Street School.

Orono residents, particularly those who live near the site at North Main and Penobscot streets, are invited to listen and offer opinions on what should happen to the property.

Attendees will hear from local historian Scott Peterson about the history of the property, the results of environmental surveys of the site, the possibility of a brownfields cleanup grant, and eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places.
