NEWPORT – The Sebasticook Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold a Meet the Candidates Night from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, in the Nokomis Regional High School cafeteria.

Candidates running for the Maine House and Senate for the towns of Corinna, Detroit, Dexter, Etna, Exeter, Hartland, Newport, Palmyra, Pittsfield, Plymouth, St. Albans and Stetson will participate. Each candidate will give views on issues that are of importance to him or her. There will be a period of time for questions and answers. Refreshments will follow and there will be time to talk with the candidates.
