MACHIAS – Washington Academy of East Machias scored three goals in the last 15 minutes of the match to rally past rival Machias 3-1 in a Downeast Athletic Conference boys soccer match Wednesday.
Noah Von Rotz netted two goals while Milos Gautier scored one for Washington Academy. Bryce Colbeth blocked seven of 13 shots for the 13-1 Raiders.
Matt Little scored for Machias. Michael Jenkins made 17 saves on 22 shots for the 9-4 Bulldogs.
Narraguagus 3, J-B Royals 0
At Harrington, Dustin Gidney registered two goals to lead Narraguagus past Jonesport-Beals.
Nate Best added a goal and an assist while Kirk Bragg had an assist for Narraguagus. Aidan Rittenhouse stopped eight of 10 shots for the 3-11 Knights.
Cody Thistlewood made 15 saves on 24 shots for 0-12 Jonesport-Beals.
DI-Stonington 2, Searsport 0
At Searsport, Joe Carter scored a first-half goal and Nathan Joyce added a second-half goal as Deer Isle-Stonington improved to 6-6-1. Searsport is now 1-12.
Eben Powers made two saves on three shots for the Mariners while Dan Peach turned aside 26 of 30 shots.
John Bapst 2, MDI 1
At Bangor, Andrew Casey netted the winning goal with 1:45 left in the match as John Bapst edged Mount Desert Island.
Miles Gagnon also scored in the second half and assisted on the winning goal. Casey Hull stopped nine of 11 shots for the 7-5-2 Crusaders.
Peter Grubb scored for the Trojans on an assist from Abe Gladstone. Iz Ward made six saves on nine shots for 7-6-1 MDI.

At Waldoboro, Joaquin Perez tallied two goals and had an assist to lead Medomak Valley by Gardiner.
Ryan Sweeney and Dale Winchenbach each added a goal while Taylor Williamson and Mark Laliberte each had an assist. Caleb Thompson stopped six of eight shots for the 11-3 Panthers.
Eric Goodwin posted the goal for Gardiner. Kaleb Smith made 13 saves on 22 shots for the 8-5 Tigers.

At Ellsworth, Garrett Kaspala registered two goals to lead Ellsworth by George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill.

At Hermon, Jon Grindle scored the game-winning goal with 12 minutes left in the second half to lift Bucksport past Hermon.
Jon Gooden and Will St. Peter each added an unassisted goal in the first half for Bucksport. Dale Pollard blocked nine of 16 shots for the 5-8-1 Golden Bucks.
Kevin Tarr and Jerimy McIntyre each netted a goal in the first half for Hermon. Cory Johnson made six saves on 10 shots for the 2-11-1 Hawks.

At Bangor, Katie Eastman notched the game’s only goal with 26:25 left in the game to lead the undefeated Tigers past John Bapst.
Sam Conway saved three of six shots to earn her seventh shutout of the year for Dexter, which finished its regular season with a 14-0 record.
Megan Smith stopped 10 of 11 shots for the 5-8-1 Crusaders.
