BAR HARBOR – Community meetings to discuss the impact of domestic violence in Maine continue next week with forums in Bar Harbor and Biddeford. Maine Public Safety Commissioner Anne Jordan and her staff have been holding a series of meetings around Maine during the summer and fall. Jordan will compile a report on the meetings and submit it to the Legislature’s Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee in December.

The meetings scheduled for the remainder of October are:

6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20 – Bar Harbor, Atlantic Oakes, Wingwood Room, 119 Eden St.

6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 – Biddeford, Biddeford Police Department.

2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27 – Orono, University of Maine, Buchanan Alumni House.

6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 – Brunswick, Mid Coast Hospital.

6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 – Portland, Woodfords Congregational Church, 202 Woodford St.
