STANDISH – Kayla Nowell scored the winner off a Kerrie Boutin assist 5:39 into the second overtime to lift Saint Joseph’s College to a 3-2 field hockey victory over Colby College Thursday.
Alyssa Dunn tied it at 2-2 with 4:54 remaining in regulation for the 9-3 Monks. Julia Ostrowski scored an unassisted goal in the first half. Meaghan Johnson turned away 10 of 18 shots.
Amy Campbell scored both goals in the second half for the 4-6 Mules. Meryl Poulin assisted Campbell’s first goal. Liz Fontaine saved seven of 13 shots.

St. Joseph’s 2, UM-Farmington 0
At Standish, Katie Jordan scored the first goal and assisted the second as Saint Joseph’s College shut out the University of Maine at Farmington.
Jordan scored on a penalty kick at 7:32 in the first half for 8-4-1 Saint Joseph’s. Mikayla Call scored in the second half. Katye Mayo turned away two of five shots.
Mckell Barnes made two saves on eight shots for 6-5 UM-Farmington.
