MADAWASKA – Jamie Martin scored an unassisted goal with 14:01 remaining in regulation to lift the Caribou girls soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Madawaska in a mutual regular-season finale Friday.

Brittany Doak made 10 saves on 11 shots for 11-3 Caribou.

Stephanie Nadeau made 10 stops on 11 shots for the 9-4-1 Owls.

Calais 9, Narraguagus 3

At Calais, Courtney Hill scored two goals and assisted on four others to help the Blue Devils end the regular season with a victory.

Toni Cole notched two goals and two assists for 7-4-1 Calais, while Lauren Remmington and Whitney Remmington each posted a goal and an assist. Krista Morrison, Tessa Clark and Honor Wilkinson added one goal apiece and Macey Gillespie chipped in with an assist.

Wilkinson made two saves on three shots and Lauren Remmington made six stops on nine shots.

Sam Baker registered a hat trick to pace 4-9-1 Narraguagus of Harrington. Beth Rofe made six saves on 15 shots.

John Bapst 3, MDI 0

At Bar Harbor, Ashley Gale and Kirsty Moriarty scored goals as John Bapst of Bangor shut out Mount Desert Island.

John Bapst got the first goal as the ball went off two MDI defenders into the net with 5:10 left in the first half. Gale scored with 2:58 left in the first and Moriarty scored in the second half. Laura Jordan saved one of two shots for the 10-4 Crusaders.

Elizabeth Sargent turned away six of nine shots for the 4-10 Trojans.

Boys soccer

Woodland 10, East Grand 0

At Danforth, Ben Sears, Charles Tomah and Andy Brown had two goals apiece as Woodland downed East Grand.

Brad Arthurs, Scott Boomer, Ivan Subialdea and Kyle Price netted a goal each for the 9-4-1 Dragons. Ryan Lincoln made five saves five shots.

Abe Brittain stopped 38 of 48 shots for 0-13 East Grand.

Machias 1, Calvary Chapel 0

At Bangor, Jacob Stevens’ goal 10:35 into the game stood up as Machias improved to 10-4.

Michael Jenkins made one save on three shots for the winners.

Devon Warman finished with three saves on five shots for 5-6-1 Calvary Chapel Christian of Orrington.

Piscataquis 7, Searsport 2

At Searsport, Nolan Lovell scored three first-half goals to power Piscataquis Community High School of Guilford past Searsport.

Joshua Herrick and James Cleaves netted two goals apiece for the 6-6-2 Pirates and Herrick also had two assists. Corbin Shufelt made 10 saves on 19 shots.

Evan Kingsbury and Josiah Brazier scored for 1-13 Searsport with Chris Gillo and Danny Peach picking up assists. Peach and Tyler Greenlaw combined for 26 saves on 38 shots.

Shead 5, Jonesport-Beals 2

At Eastport, Justin Lewey’s two goals sparked the Shead Tigers to the win.

Caleb Brooker, Dave Medeiros and Tommy Collins netted a goal apiece for 6-6 Shead. Tyler Mitchell and Ethan Stevens teamed up for 13 saves on 15 shots.

Matt Alley scored both goals for 0-12 Jonesport-Beals. Cody Thistlewood stopped 14 of 23 shots.

Lee 1, Bangor Christian 0

At Bangor, Zachary Averill scored an unassisted goal 35:25 into the first half to lead Lee Academy past Bangor Christian.

A.J. Harris turned away 10 of 18 shots for the 6-7-1 Pandas.

Tyler Alexander saved six of 10 shots for the 9-3-1 Patriots.
