BAR HARBOR – A community forum to discuss the impact of domestic violence in Maine will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at the Atlantic Oakes, 119 Eden St.
Maine Public Safety Commissioner Anne Jordan and her staff have been holding a series of meetings around Maine during the summer and fall. The most recent meeting was held in Bridgton. Jordan will compile a report on the meetings and submit it to the Legislature’s Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee in December.
Meetings scheduled for the rest of October are:
. 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, Bar Harbor, Atlantic Oakes.
. 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, Biddeford Police Department.
. 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, Orono, University of Maine, Buchanan Alumni House.
. 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, Brunswick, Mid-Coast Hospital.
. 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, Portland, Woodfords Congregational Church, 202 Woodford St.
