CARIBOU – Russ Mortland scored two goals in the second half Saturday to propel Presque Isle to a 4-0 boys soccer victory over archrival Caribou.
Warren Zubrick tallied a goal and two assists while Josh Allen added a goal and an assist for 13-0-1 Presque Isle. Dillon Kingsbury made three saves on six shots for the Wildcats.
Eric Brown stopped 14 of 18 shots for 7-4-2 Caribou.

At Greenville, Tony DiAngelo and Joe Gilbert each netted a goal in the second half to spark Greenville past Valley of Bingham.

Travis Rich made 28 saves on 30 shots for 1-11 Valley.

At Brewer, Caitlin Jameson scored the game-winner with an assist from Erica Paulette about three minutes into overtime to give No. 9 Brunswick the win over No. 8 Brewer.
Heather Durkee stopped all 10 shots to earn the shutout for Brunswick.
Angela Patterson saved 15 of 16 shots for the Witches.

Calais-Woodland 48, Dexter 14
At Dexter, senior fullback Blake Ford rushed for 279 yards on 11 carries and scored four touchdowns as the Silverados won for the fourth time in their last five games.
Ford scored on runs of 60, 57, 59 and 13 yards as 4-3 Calais-Woodland extended a 16-14 halftime lead with 32 unanswered points after intermission.
Ford also contributed four two-point conversion runs.
Sophomore Cam Shorey added touchdown runs of 25 and 36 yards for the Silverados, and finished the afternoon with 122 rushing yards on 10 carries.
Calais-Woodland finished with 401 total yards – all on the ground – on 26 rushes, an average of 15.4 yards per carry.
Dexter (1-6) got a pair of second-quarter touchdowns to rally from a 16-0 deficit. Doug Richardson scored on a 2-yard run, and Cameron Doncet-Hall caught a 31-yard scoring pass from Andrew Lockhart on the last play of the first half.
Richardson finished with 193 rushing yards on 33 carries. Dexter amassed 273 yards of total offense, including 245 rushing yards on 56 carries.

Siviski, Eric Bezanson and Lucas Jones combined to rush for more than 260 yards in the contest.

At Hampden on Friday, Shawn Smith ran for a touchdown and threw for a touchdown in the last five minutes of the game as the Broncos rallied to defeat the Raiders of Sabattus.
Smith ran for a five-yard touchdown with 4:58 left in the game then, after a successful onside kick, threw for a 20-yard touchdown to Justin Rodgerson with 3:05 remaining to put Hampden ahead.
Smith was 17-for-24 for 191 yards passing with two touchdowns, including a 14-yarder Noland Turner and had eight carries for 87 yards.
Turner had nine catches for 94 yards and also carried the ball 14 times for 73 yards.
