BANGOR – Amy Sanz scored off a Shelby Bradford assist with a minute left in the second overtime as Husson University defeated Colby College of Waterville 3-2 in women’s soccer play Tuesday.

Megan Clement and Megan LaJoie scored first-half goals for the 12-4 Eagles. Shelby Bradford and Kylan Smith recorded assists. Tatyana Wolterbeek stopped six of 14 shots.

Nikki Pickering and Emily Moos scored for the 4-7-1 Mules. Julie Denison assisted Pickering’s first-half goal. Loni Pisani turned away nine of 20 shots.

Framingham State 3, USM 1

At Framingham, Mass., Kerry Kiley’s two goals powered the Rams to victory over the Huskies of Gorham.

Jill Johnson added a goal for 5-8 Framingham State while Kate Simonelli came up with two saves on six shots.

Bridget FitzGerald netted an unassisted goal for 4-9-1 Southern Maine. Alison Bradley stopped 10 of 18 shots.

St. Joseph’s 2, Rivier 0

At Nashua, N.H., Jessica Needham and Mikayla Call netted a goal apiece to lead St. Joseph’s of Standish past Rivier College.

Katie Jordan had an assist for the Monks. Katie Mayo had six saves.

Brittany Puleo recorded nine saves for Rivier.

Men’s soccer

Southern Maine 2, MMA 0

At Castine, the University of Southern Maine scored two second-half goals to defeat Maine Maritime Academy.

Derek Peters scored off a Peter McHugh assist for 10-6-1 Southern Maine. Mohamed Mohamed added an insurance goal with an assist from Peters. David Kreps saved two of 14 shots.

Jeff Butland made seven saves off 28 shots for 4-9-1 Maine Maritimes.

Field hockey

St. Joseph’s 4, Becker 1

At Leicester, Mass., four different players scored a goal apiece for the Monks of Standish in the win.

Kayla Nowell, Jillian Kimball, Gina Gaetani and Alyssa McCarthy tallied a goal for 10-4 St. Joseph’s while Julia Ostrowski had two assists. Taylor Allison had three saves on six shots.

Victoria Sirchia scored 8-9 Becker’s lone goal while Ciara Lawrence saved 12 of 18 shots.
