BANGOR – Candidates in all Maine House and Senate races in Bangor and Brewer are invited to participate in a grass-roots Community Candidate Forum set for 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the Bangor Opera House, 131 Main St.

“The majority of candidates are already committed,” organizers said, “and we hope to pack the opera house with a full audience of engaged voters.

The forum will be a live discussion giving opponents in these key local races a chance to answer four questions about key issues.

The event will be broadcast live on WHSN 89.3-FM radio and streamed online thanks to the New England School of Communications.

Dr. Mark Kelley of NESCom will moderate the forum.

Seating is limited and RSVPs will be taken by Penobscot Theatre at 942-3333.
