PRESQUE ISLE – Keith Williams scored three goals as the unbeaten University of Maine-Fort Kent Bengals rolled to a 7-0 men’s soccer victory over UM-Presque Isle on Thursday.

Jermaine West and Andre Anderson each chipped in with two goals and an assist for the 15-0 Bengals. Jarryd Phillips and Dwayne Smith each notched an assist and Derrick Plourde made one save on six shots.

Fort 9-5-1 UMPI, Richard Felbaum made saves on 27 shots.

Women’s soccer

UMFK 3, UMPI 1

At Presque, the UMaine-Fort Kent Bengals scored three first-half goals en route to the win Thursday over the UM-Presque Isle Owls.

Sarah Nadeau, Whitney Sinclair and Brianne McGary each scored for the 12-3 winners, and Angela Norsworthy recorded two assists. Kayla Daigle made eight saves on 13 shots.

Jessica Kinney scored for 8-5-2 UMPI. Billie Martin made five saves in the first half and Carolynn Tuck made five in the second. UMFK outshot UMPI 20-13.
