MOUNT DESERT – Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found Friday afternoon in the woods off Grover Avenue.

The body was discovered by a young hiker at about 2:30 p.m. Friday, according to Sgt. Kevin Edgecomb of the Mount Desert Police Department.

Police investigated the death Friday and have released few details, but Edgecomb said Sunday that no foul play is suspected and there is nothing suspicious about the death.
