EASTPORT – The Skeleton Crew will read tales and poems of the weird at the Unitarian Meetinghouse, 16 Shackford St., at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30. This event is mainly for adults, but well-behaved children are welcome.

The host will be Jonathon Sisson, who will read with the other members of the Skeleton Crew, Barbara Barrett, Jonah Baskerville, Fred Engel and Linda Sisson. Haunting organ music will be played by Jonah Baskerville.

Light refreshments will be served. There is no admission charge, but donations to the meetinghouse fuel fund are encouraged. For information, call Ann Cornelison at 853-2633.
