ELLSWORTH – The second annual American Cancer Society Downeast Living With Cancer Conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at the Holiday Inn.
The conference is a free, daylong program for cancer patients, family members, caregivers and medical professionals.
This year’s conference theme is “Survivorship: Integrated Approaches to Hope and Healing.” Speakers will include Marianne Moore, a cancer survivor and businesswoman from Calais, and Meg Wolff, an author, cancer survivor and Cape Elizabeth resident. In addition, there will be a panel discussion with cancer survivors, workshop sessions and vendor exhibits.
