WATERVILLE – More than 300 people recently gathered at Rita and Doug Sukeforth’s family camp on the Bingham-Solon line for a pig roast and a day of games that helped to raise $45,655 that will go directly to helping serve people in northern Kennebec and Somerset counties with much-needed Meals on Wheels to homebound or disabled adults, and hospice services.
The day featured a pig roast, barbecue, games, fly-fishing demos, 50-50 raffle, live music, Frisbee golf, golf chipping, cribbage, a mud run, and a live auction to raise money to support Spectrum Generations Meals on Wheels Program and the Hospice Volunteers of the Waterville Area.
Spectrum Generations is the Central Maine Area Agency on Aging serving adults and their families with programs and services that guide individuals across all ages and abilities through the lifetime process.
