ROCKPORT – Steven Ford headed a Peter Doubleday corner kick into the goal with 18 minutes left in regulation to give No. 2 Camden Hills a 2-1 boys soccer win over third-seeded Medomak Valley in an Eastern Maine Class B semifinal Saturday.
Doubleday tied it up four minutes into the second half on a direct kick from 25 yards out. Ian Cushing saved eight of 10 shots for 13-2-1 Camden Hills.
Mark Laliberte scored two minutes into the second half to put 12-4 Medomak up 1-0. Caleb Thompson made four saves off eight shots.
Saturday’s semifinal winners advance to Wednesday’s regional finals.
Presque Isle 2, Ellsworth 0
At Presque Isle, Warren Zubrick notched a pair of goals in the second half to spark No. 1 Presque Isle by No. 4 Ellsworth.
Zubrick scored the first goal unassisted with 21 minutes remaining in the half. The second goal was scored with 3:30 left on an assist from Lucas Mathers. Dillion Kingsbury blocked five of eight shots for the 15-0-1 Wildcats.
Jordan Carter made 17 saves on 25 shots for 14-2-1 Ellsworth.
Class C
Madawaska 1, Fort Kent 0
At Madawaska, junior Nathan A. Beaulieu shot the ball from 20 yards out into the upper left corner with just 1:10 left in regulation to lead top-seeded Madawaska past No. 5 Fort Kent and to the Eastern Maine championship game.
Senior Nathan P. Beaulieu turned away one of two shots for the 14-0-2 Owls.
Matt Harvey made 12 saves off 21 shots for 9-6-1 Fort Kent.
Washington Acad. 2, Orono 1
At East Machias, Sung Min Kim scored the winning goal unassisted with 10:04 remaining in the game as No. 2 Washington Academy edged No. 3 Orono.
Noah Von Rotz tallied the first goal for Washington Academy with 27:48 left in the game. Bryce Colbeth made 13 saves on 19 shots for the 15-1 Raiders.
Brandon Paul scored for Orono with 1:11 left in the game on a pass from Paul Ohno. A.J. Coleman stopped 15 of 29 shots for the 11-4-1 Red Riots.

Katahdin 6, So. Aroostook 2
At Stacyville, Ethan Qualey had a hat trick as top-seeded Katahdin defeated No. 5 Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook.
Katahdin scored all of its goals in the first half.
Marshall Davis had two goals and an assist for the 15-0-1 Cougars. Billy Duffy had a goal and an assist and Colby Gallagher recorded an assist. Matt Tarr saved eight of 16 shots.
Stephen Grant and Dakota Sleeper scored for 10-6-1 Southern Aroostook. Dillon Boulier turned away 20 of 31 shots.
WM Class D
Greenville 6, Portland Chr. 2
At Greenville, Richie Chilson scored three goals to power No. 2 Greenville by No. 3 Greater Portland Christian.
Troy McVey, Kevin Stafford and Evan Bickford each added a goal for Greenville. Bickford grabbed two assist and Joe Gilbert had one. Alex Jardine stopped nine of 11 shots for the 9-2-2 Lakers.
Anthony Simpson netted both goals for Greater Portland Christian. Jacob Rudolp made 15 saves on 21 shots.

Presque isle 4, Ellsworth 2
At Presque Isle, Sarah Porter and Kayla Legassie each tallied a goal and an assist to propel No. 1 Presque Isle by No. 4 Ellsworth.
Kayla Richards and Jenna Stephenson each netted a goal in the first half for 15-1 Presque Isle. Chelsea Nickerson grabbed an assist. Kelsey Park made three saves on five shots for the Wildcats.
Emily Lyons and Taylor Trombley each scored a goal for 12-3-2 Ellsworth. Angie Tucker stopped 10 of 16 shots.
Saturday’s semifinal winners advance to Wednesday’s regional finals.
Winslow 1, Medomak 0 (PK)
At Winslow, Kelsey Bouchard scored the winning goal in the third round of penalty kicks, breaking the 3-3 tie, to hand No. 2 Winslow the win over no. 3 Medomak Valley of Waldoboro.
Lindsay Vigue, Kim Curtis, Arian Kumlangngam and Bouchard scored penalty-kick goals in the third round of PKs.
Winslow and Medomak tied in the first round, 2-2, and in the second round, 3-3.
Beth Fisher turned away 13 of 15 shots for 15-1 Winslow.
Rachel Keefe saved 19 of 22 shots for 14-2 Medomak Valley.

Orono 1, George Stevens 0
At Orono, Alex Crocker netted the game-winning goal on a breakaway with 6.2 seconds remaining in the game to lift No. 1 Orono past No. 5 George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill.
Elizabeth Fox stopped seven of nine shots for the 10-2-4 Red Riots.
Hannah Van der Eb made six saves on eight shots for 11-3-2 George Stevens Academy.

SAHS 1, Katahdin 0 (2OT)
At Dyer Brook, Brittany Charette netted the game-winning goal with 8:44 left in the second overtime on a cross from Rochelle Nadeau to lead No. 1 Southern Aroostook past No. 4 Katahdin.
Emily Cummings blocked eight of 14 shots for the 14-1-1 Warriors.
Dani-Beth Cyr made 11 saves on 17 shots for 8-6-2 Katahdin.
Ashland 1, Van Buren 0 (PK)
At Presque Isle, second-seeded Ashland outscored No. 3 Van Buren 2-0 in double-overtime penalty kicks to advance to the Eastern Maine championship game.
Freshman Anna Paradis and Suzie Poulin converted penalty-kick goals for the 12-3-1 Hornets.
It was Paradis’ second game-winning goal of the postseason. She scored the second goal in a 3-1 Ashland win over Fort Fairfield in the quarterfinals.
Taylor Baker turned away all eight shots and all four penalty-kick shots.
Ashlie Wilson made 15 saves off 26 shots for 10-6 Van Buren.

Greenville 2, Rangeley 0
At Greenville, first-half goals by Nikki Hamilton and McKenna Peat and Sidney Richardson’s four saves sent top-seeded Greenville, now 7-1-4, into Wednesday’s 12:30 p.m. final against visiting Rangeley.
Richardson faced eight shots.
Peat assisted on Hamilton’s goal and Gretel Breton had an assist on Peat’s goal.
Dana-Marie Wentworth made nine saves on 18 shots for fourth-seeded Vinalhaven, which wound up 7-5-4.

Calais-Woodland 32, MA Lynx 14
At Calais, Cam Shorey scored three first-half touchdowns to lift No. 4 Calais-Woodland over No. 5 Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln in the LTC quarterfinals.
Cam Shorey rushed for 135 yards on 26 carries for the Silverados. Blake Ford rushed 19 times for 141 yards and scored a touchdown in the third quarter.
Calais-Woodland’s Eric Henry recorded three solo tackles and three assists while picking up an interception.
Cal Shorey had a fumble recovery and an interception while Greg Jackson had two interceptions. Cam Shorey and Devon Staples each had a fumble recovery and Ford recorded a sack.
Kyle Epp put Mattanawcook on the board with a 1-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter and followed that with a 15-yard scoring pass to Josh Murchison.
Epp complete 8 of 11 passes for 95 yards in the fourth quarter.

At Bangor, Derek Smith passed for three touchdowns and ran in another as second-seeded John Bapst downed No. 7 Stearns of Millinocket.
Smith completed 15 of 24 attempts for 374 and rushed nine times for 76 yards.
Bill Wetherbee caught four Smith passes for 112 yards and ran 11 times for 44 yards while scoring three touchdowns.
Shane Hass had six receptions for 157 yards and a touchdowns for the Crusaders.
On defense, Chase Huckestein had eight tackles and an interceptions and Cody Andrews totaled six tackles and two sacks for John Bapst.
Four different players scored touchdowns for the Minutemen. Billy Eurich had 7 carries for 55 yards and scored in the first quarter on a 12-yard run.
Charlie Osborne scored a fourth-quarter touchdown and rushed six times for 59 yards. Cory Barnett and Kurt Hamilton also scored touchdowns.
The Crusaders totaled 509 yards of offense while Stearns had 166 yards.

At Husson College in Bangor, Andrew Lockhart threw for three touchdowns and ran for one to power Dexter.
Lockhart had four carries for 84 yards, including a 73-yard touchdown run, and was 3-for-5 passing for 21 yards.
Doug Richardson carried the ball 17 times for 125 yards to pace the Tigers. Tim Gustin caught two touchdown passes while Cameron Doncet-Hall caught one and ran for one.
