Community members and friends are invited to a Benefit Variety Show at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at the Central High School gymnasium in Corinth to benefit 19-year-old Justin Hadley and his family of Corinth.
The event has been organized by CHS sophomore Colby Darling to assist with the mounting expenses incurred by Hadley and his family as he undergoes cancer treatment in Boston.
The show will feature “musical acts, skits, comedy, and three local bands, including Rebirth 2 Ends,” said Colby’s mom, Susan Darling, who added that this benefit “is a labor of love and an expression of community support for Justin and his family.”
The fundraiser includes a 50-50 raffle, a quilt raffle and a bake sale.
Raffle tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 285-3191.
For those who are unable to attend but would like to help the family with expenses for everything from lodging to meals and gas for trips to and from treatment, donations may be made out to The Justin Hadley Fund and mailed to Maine Savings FCU, 500 Main St., Corinth 04427.
