ALBANY, N.Y. – Meg Shea scored off a Cally Cooke assist 4:53 into overtime to lead No. 2 University of New Hampshire past No. 3 UMaine 3-2 in the America East field hockey semifinals Friday.

New Hampshire will play top-seeded University at Albany for the championship on Sunday.

Kyle Lyons scored on a penalty stroke at 29:02 in the first half for 9-10 New Hampshire. Meg Shea scored in the second with an assist from Sarah Craigue to make it a 2-1 New Hampshire lead.

Kelly Newton tied it at 1-1 at 11:26 into the second half for the 6-11 Black Bears. Jocelyn Mitchell tied it again at 2-2 at 23:55 into the second half. Both goals were unassisted.

Jenna Lehman turned away 11 of 13 shots for New Hampshire, while Maine goalie Brittany Fleck saved six of nine shots.
