WISCASSET – The local Police Department, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Maine State Police and Maine Warden Service are conducting a joint investigation and search for a missing woman.

Jessica Norris (aka Jessica Fraiser), 38, of West Alna Road in Wiscasset last was seen at approximately 3 p.m. Thursday. Norris was going out for a walk with her black Labrador puppy as she often did on the woods roads and trails near her home, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

When Norris did not return home after an extended period of time, her fiance contacted the Wiscasset Police Department.

K-9 teams from the Maine Warden Service and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office have been searching the wooded area around the home with no results late Friday afternoon.

Norris is described as a white female, 5 foot 4 inches and 140 pounds with blond hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a fluorescent green jacket and faded blue jeans. The puppy was wearing a hunter orange collar.

Anyone with information on Norris’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Lincoln County Communications Center at 882-7332 or the Maine State Police at 800-452-4664.
