FARMINGTON – Two Franklin County men are free on bail after being arrested in an alleged cocaine-trafficking ring. Drug agents seized $4,000 worth of cocaine, more than a pound of processed marijuana and nearly 40 firearms.
Arrested were Jeffrey Wing, 51, of Madrid Township and his son Jason G. Wing, 32, also of Madrid. Both are charged with aggravated trafficking in cocaine and aggravated trafficking in marijuana.
Police say the trafficking charges were upgraded to aggravated because 38 firearms were seized along with the drugs.
The case is expected to be referred to the grand jury.
