PORTLAND – Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame pitcher Luis Tiant will make an appearance at the USA Boxing New England Championship Finals on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Stevens Avenue Armory.
Tiant, who recorded four 20-win seasons with the Red Sox, will be signing photos and baseballs with proceeds benefiting the Portland Boxing Club.
Advanced tickets and reserved seats are on sale at Bruno’s Restaurant in Portland. Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the show.
