BLUE HILL – The Blue Hill Public Library will host two events for children in December. The library will welcome Santa Claus 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4. He will talk with kids and add Christmas cheer to Blue Hill’s Night of Lights. At 11 a.m.

BLUE HILL – The Blue Hill Public Library will host two events for children in December. The library will welcome Santa Claus 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4. He will talk with kids and add Christmas cheer to Blue Hill’s Night of Lights.

At 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, photographer Gary Harmatz will present a slide show for children. Harmatz has been a wildlife, nature, travel and underwater photographer for more than 19 years, capturing images of big cats and mountain gorillas in Africa and polar bears and baby harp seals in the Arctic.

No reservations are necessary. Admission is free. For information, call 374-5515.
