Steve Valastro (University of Southern Maine senior), wrestling, 141-pound Valastro was named Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Oneonta State Red Dragons Invitational after posting a 4-0 record.

NESCAC

Cody McKinney (Colby College sophomore goaltender), men’s hockey co-player, McKinney made 67 saves in two 3-2 wins over UMass Boston and Babson College.

Great Northeast Athletic Conference

Lindsay D’Ascanio (Saint Joseph’s sophomore), Women’s Swimmer of the Week, finished first in the 100-meter butterfly and broke the school record in the 100 IM with a time of 1:09.29 in a win over Regis.

Hannah Gajewski (Saint Joseph’s freshman), women’s swimming rookie of the week, earned first place finishes in the 50-meter backstroke and the 500 freestyle.
