PRESQUE ISLE – The University of Maine at Presque Isle and the Presque Isle Chamber of Commerce plan two holiday campus activities on Dec. 6, the evening of the Presque Isle Holiday Light Parade.

The public is invited to gather at 6:30 p.m., just before the parade, at the President’s House for a bowl of chili and hot beverages. The 60-foot evergreen tree on the president’s lawn will be lit to formally mark the start of the holiday season. Parking is available in the Gentile Hall and Library lots.

Hot cocoa, coffee and cookies will be served in the lobby of Gentile Hall as the Holiday Light Parade winds its way down Main Street.
