PRESQUE ISLE – The Student Education Association of Maine will host a workshop titled “How Do You Know What Your Students Know?” from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. The workshop will be led by Ellen Holmes, NEA/Maine Department of Education Distinguished Educator.

Participants will receive an introduction to the idea of “Response to Intervention” in the general education classroom. Activities are designed to help educators and education students understand how to articulate essential learning targets, universal screening, process monitoring, and tools and resources for collecting and analyzing student data.

The workshop is free to NEA/MEA/SEAM members and $75 for nonmembers, and lunch and snack will be provided. To register, contact wendy.ross@umpi.edu.
