FORT KENT – Urologist Richard J. Long is the newest member of Northern Maine Medical Center’s staff. Dr. Long is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed residencies in general surgery and urology at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics.

FORT KENT – Urologist Richard J. Long is the newest member of Northern Maine Medical Center’s staff.

Dr. Long is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed residencies in general surgery and urology at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics.

Long specializes in prostate care and has presented many papers on topics relating to prostate cancer and its treatment.

He also has published a wide array of articles on issues ranging from prostate cancer to the urological aspects of health care.

Along with his NMMC duties, Long is employed full time at the Maine Urology Associates P.A. in Bangor.
