BANGOR – Following are municipal meetings and events planned next week in Bangor:

. Parks and recreation advisory board, 4 p.m. Monday, City Council chambers; updates from parks and recreation director, Sawyer Arena report, status of pet control guidelines for trails and open space.

. Finance committee, 5 p.m. Monday, City Council chambers; awarding bid for Birch Stream Water Management Plan to James Sewall Co. for $40,000, assessor’s update, current year revenue status.

. Heart of ME: Healthy, Empowered and Responsible Teens of Maine community forum, 6 p.m. Tuesday, 262 Harlow St.; discussion of privacy and teens’ access to family planning and birth control.

. Planning board, 7 p.m. Tuesday, City Council chambers; preliminary subdivision plan for 23 lots at Grandview Avenue and Essex Street, site development plan to construct an addition to a building on Stillwater Avenue.
