MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Jacki Gibson scored a goal and assisted on another as Robert Morris University defeated the University of Maine 4-2 in women’s college hockey action Friday night.

Chelsea Walkland, Jordan Riley and Brianna Delaney added goals for 6-8-1 Robert Morris. Brianne McLaughlin stopped 40 of 42 shots.

Jenna Ouellette scored in the second period off assists from Taryn Peacock and Lexie Hoffmeyer for 3-10-1 Maine. Myriam Croussette added a goal in the third with assists from Jennie Gallo and Vanessa Vani. Genevieve Turgeon and Candice Currier combined for 19 saves off 23 shots.
