Lack of water sends Caravel students home

CARMEL – Water problems caused the 210 students at Caravel Middle School to be sent home early Monday.

“We didn’t have water this morning and we had to dismiss early,” Principal Rhonda Sperrey said Monday afternoon. Students were sent home at 12:20 p.m.

Sperrey said that plumbers were working to solve the water problem Monday afternoon. If there still was no water in the middle school by Tuesday morning, the school was planning to notify students and parents over radio and TV, she said.
