LEBANON – Maine State Police are investigating the death of a 15-month-old boy who died in his sleep at his family’s home in Lebanon.
State police spokesman Stephen McCausland said the death of Ty Gilpatrick is not considered suspicious. State police investigate every death involving a child under age 3.
The boy was found Friday morning on a couch where he had been sleeping. An autopsy was inconclusive and additional study is needed to determine the cause of death.
