CLIFTON – Selectmen have chosen Christopher Fickett to fill the SAD 63 post left vacant when former chairwoman Linda Goodrich resigned in October.

Fickett was appointed at the selectmen’s Nov. 19 meeting, and will serve until local elections are held in March to fill the remaining year of Goodrich’s three-year term.

The strain of the lawsuits brought by fired SAD 63 Superintendent Louise Regan is the reason Goodrich gave for resigning. The SAD 63 board accepted Goodrich’s registration letter at its Oct. 27 meeting.
