Help needed to transport playground equipment

Volunteers and staff of Lee-Winn School are seeking a kind trucker who might be near Delano, Minn., anytime after Monday, Dec. 8, and who would be willing to pick up playground equipment for their students.

To ship the equipment, Priscilla Mallory reports, would cost $1,200, which the folks who have been working on this project do not have.

“The weight is 1,911 pounds and [the equipment] is 12 feet on one side and 8 feet on the other,” Mallory wrote.

If anyone can help transport this playground for the kids, call the school at 738-3060.
