BOWERBANK – Several items including a shotgun and a generator were reported missing in one of two camp break-ins in the Bowerbank area since Thanksgiving Day.

Entry into both camps was through doors forced open, according to Lt. Robert Young of the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Department.

A quantity of groceries, liquor, a chain saw, a shotgun and a generator were taken from one camp. Nothing was reported missing from another camp next door that had been vandalized, Young said.

Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Department at 564-3304.
