ELLSWORTH – St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, 134 State St., will hold the third in a series of special Sunday activities designed to include all generations from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 7.
Activities will begin at 9 a.m. for activities around St. Nicholas, the patron saint of giving.
People planning to attend are asked to bring a pair of gloves or mittens for the Mitten Tree. They will be given to the Emmaus Center for families and their residents.
Children and adults also will make ornaments for the church’s apple or their own trees. A Christmas chain will be constructed.
The service will begin at 10 a.m., when St. Nicholas is expected to come knocking at the church door.
