BREWER – The Brewer Witches rallied from a five-point deficit entering the fourth quarter en route to a season-opening 41-38 schoolgirl basketball victory over the Nokomis Warriors Friday night.
Leah Jackson led Brewer with 17 points, 11 rebounds and five steals, while Holly Nickerson and Sheri Valley each scored eight points.
Danielle Watson scored 11 points and Sabrina Vaillancourt added 10 for Nokomis of Newport.
