RINDGE, N.H. – Franklin Pierce University field hockey freshman goalie Kristin Tormollan of Waterville will be featured in the Faces in the Crowd section of the Dec. 8 issue of Sports Illustrated.

Tormollan helped lead Franklin Pierce to its first berth in the Northeast-10 Conference Championship since 2001.

Tormollan is featured for being selected the Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, as well as being the first-team All-Conference. She also set program records in minutes played (1,414) and games started (20).

She was an All-State performer at Waterville High School a year ago, leading the Panthers to the Maine State Championship her senior year.
