BANGOR – Some of the recipes in the recently published Hammond Street Senior Center cookbook have been handed down from mothers to daughters for generations.

The $12 cookbooks feature recipes for desserts, entrees, salads, appetizers, and soups – all contributed by members of the senior center.

The money raised through the cookbook sales will benefit the center and its programs. Those interested in buying a cookbook may stop by the Hammond Street Senior Center, 2 Hammond St., or call 262-5532.
