PORTLAND – A Connecticut woman has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for trafficking in cocaine and crack cocaine in Maine.

Kim Knight, 29, of Norwich, Conn., was sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court in Portland.

Knight was one of 14 people charged with participating in a conspiracy to transport large quantities of cocaine from Connecticut to the Biddeford area of Maine in 2006 and 2007.

Prosecutors said 13 of those people have pleaded guilty.
