BELFAST – City police are investigating a criminal mischief complaint after a Back Belmont Road resident returned home early Tuesday to find her residence vandalized.
Police Chief Jeffrey Trafton said the department was notified of the incident at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday. He said the homeowner had left the property at 8 a.m. Monday and found the front door kicked in and windows and lights on a parked vehicle broken when she returned home.
Officer Rick Smith was assigned the investigation.
