ROCKLAND – City police and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man Friday for possession of a firearm by a felon.

Arthur Marriner, 39, of the Rockland area was out on bail on a charge of trafficking cocaine in Rockland, police reported. Marriner was arrested in Waldoboro, where he was found to possess a .25-caliber handgun.

Rockland police and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department have been working together on several investigations.
