UNITY – Matt Belonick scored a pair of second-half goals to lead Unity College to a 3-1 men’s soccer victory over Southern Maine Community College Monday.

Pat Shaw scored to give the Southern Maine Community College Seawolves a 1-0 halftime lead. But Unity’s Peter Taliaferro, a Mount View of Thorndike graduate, scored to tie the game, and Belonick followed with his goals, the second one assisted by John Korkus.

Tyler Ferguson made seven saves on nine shots for the 7-3 Unity College Rams. Josh Blair made six saves on 12 shots for 7-4 SMCC.
