ELLSWORTH – Emily Miller scored the tie-breaking goal off an Ashley Olson assist with 3:10 left in the second overtime as Ellsworth tipped George Stevens Academy 2-1 in girls soccer action Tuesday.
Jen Richter started the scoring with an early second-half goal, assisted by Miller, for 4-5-4 Ellsworth. Catie Cravens saved eight of nine shots.
Laura Overton made the game-tying goal with 12:10 left in regulation for 5-5-3 George Stevens of Blue Hill. Kayla Eaton faced 14 shots, stopping 12.

At Deer Isle, Tia Wood scored the tying goal on a Leti Douglass assist with 8:11 left in the first half for Deer Isle-Stonington.
Christina Fifield made 18 saves on 19 shots for the 1-11-1 Mariners.
Elizabeth Grant scored 47 seconds into the game for 4-7-2 Narraguagus of Harrington, and Alicia Tenney stopped seven of eight shots.

At East Sullivan, Brooke Hale booted home three goals and Amber Leathers had two as the Patriots gained the win.
Adrienne Ricci, Christin Pelletier, and Heather Holmes each added a goal. Johannah Kutz stopped all three shots to come her way for 6-5-2 Bangor Christian.
Whitney Page saved 22 of 35 shots for the 1-11 Tigers.

At Stacyville, Shelby Pickering scored five goals to lead Lee Academy to the win.
Michaela Ham scored two goals for the 13-0 Pandas, and Kerri Harris, Brooke Harris, Amanda Gifford, and Marci Moors each added a goal. Jackie Moors made four saves on six shots.
Kayla Stevens stopped 15 of 28 shots for 1-13 Katahdin.
Washburn 3, Wisdom 2
At St. Agatha, Kristen Goupille’s second goal of the game, coming with 13 minutes left, gave Washburn its victory.
Goupille had tied the game eight minutes earlier. Alex Bird had the other goal for 7-6 Washburn, and Amber Palmer made 10 saves on 15 shots.
Nicole St. Pierre and Justine Tardif had a goal and an assist apiece for 3-10 Wisdom, and Kayle Daigle made 15 saves on 20 shots.
Houlton 5, Hodgdon 2
At Houlton, Danielle Sewell and Brittany Guiod each made a pair of goals to lift the Shiretowners to victory.
Keegan Hovey also scored for 4-6-3 Houlton, and Nicole Manton made three saves on seven shots.
Andrea Blanchette and Brianne McGary scored for the 6-7 Hawks, while Heather London faced 13 shots and made five saves.

At Mars Hill, Beth Chamberlin scored on a Caitlin Sherman assist with 20 minutes left in the second half to lead Ashland to the win.
Ashley Peters also scored for 11-1 Ashland. Ashley Nemer made two saves on three shots.
Rachel Graves stopped 17 of 19 shots for 1-8-2 Central Aroostook.

At Milo, second-half goals by seniors Erin Beasley and Sam Ellis helped the Patriots celebrate Senior Night with a season-ending upset.
Beasley, assisted by Crystal Sanborn, scored eight minutes into the second half, and Ellis, with an assist from Kate Hamlin, scored with seven seconds remaining.
Michelle Mulherin made four saves on five shots for 3-10-1 Penquis, and Nicole Daniels made 15 saves on 18 shots for the 6-6-1 Red Devils of Corinth.
Penobscot Valley 6, Dexter 1
At Howland, Ashley Dawson and Kacy Foster each scored two goals to lead Penobscot Valley to the victory.
Tiffany Brown had a goal and an assist for the 11-2 Howlers, and Lexi Thurlow added a goal. Randy Rackley had an assist and Jenn Plourde made three saves on eight shots.
Jana Kenney scored with 12 minutes left in the second half for the 3-10 Tigers, and Ashley Richardson stopped six of 27 shots.

At Belfast, Jamie Flagg and Britt Reed each scored two goals to push Belfast to the win in their final game.
Skye Ellis and Carrie Hart each added a goal for 14-0 Belfast. Kelsey Jackson had three assists as Hart and Liz Anderson combined to stop all six shots.
Jessica Paladnio made 16 saves on 22 shots for 5-9 Leavitt of Turner.

Chris Cowperthwaite scored the goal for the 1-11-1 Tigers of East Sullivan, and Mason Young stopped eight of 28 shots.

At Mount Desert, Rich Hilliard had a hand in all three of the Trojans’ goals, scoring one and assisting on the other two.
Willy Ramano scored and assisted once, while Matt Grover had one goal for 6-5-2 MDI. Max Blanford saved half of the 10 shots he faced.
Chris Fournier had the 7-6 Hawk’s lone goal, and Corey Stanhope stopped five of 14 shots.

At Stacyville, Rick Kim had a hat trick with three goals to power Lee Academy past Katahdin.

At Easton, Isaac Ward netted three goals for the Hornets.
Jeremy Baker added two goals and an assist. Sam Cobb and Josh Chamberlin scored one apiece, while Buddy Collins and Curtis Belanger made an assist each. Lucas Belanger made 11 saves on 17 shots.
Jared Flewelling and Mitchell Blodgett scored for the Bears. Jeremy Brock made 19 saves on 29 shots.
