ELLSWORTH – Jensen Rich scored the winning goal off a Andy Berry assist with 8:14 left Friday, lifting Class B Ellsworth to a 3-2 boys soccer victory over Bangor.
Demetrios Katsiaficas and Taylor Wentworth each scored a goal for 11-1-2 Ellsworth. Matt Homich and Pat Nabozny both had an assist, and Cory Smith stopped five of nine shots.
Troy Jellison and Dylan George each scored a goal for 11-2-1 Bangor, and Aaron Taft stopped eight of 16 shots.

Woodland 2, East Grand 1
At Woodland, the Dragons’ Ben Leighton scored with 18:20 remaining in the second half to snap a 1-1 tie.
Leighton also scored the first goal for 5-7 Woodland, while Todd Diadone and Steve Newell posted an assist apiece. Craig Moody made 16 saves on 17 shots.
Caleb Dicker knocked in the lone goal for the 1-10-1 Vikings of Danforth, and Ricky Parks made 28 saves on 30 shots.

At Bucksport, Matt Grover scored two goals and Max Blanford made three saves on five shots to spark the Trojans.
Dan Lyons, Jordan Merchant, and Willy Romano posted a goal apiece for the 7-5-2 Trojans.
Miles Bisher made 15 saves on 24 shots for the 2-10-2 Golden Bucks.

At Blue Hill, Blake Wessel scored two goals to carry the Eagles to victory.

At Deer Isle, Dan Beatham, Ethan Woodman, and Brandon Woodman scored a goal apiece, leading the Tigers to victory.
Sam Bower made 10 saves on 11 shots for 7-6-1 Dexter.
Taber Johnson scored on a Rob Brown assist for 6-8 Deer Isle-Stonington. Thomas Robbins made 12 saves on 15 shots.

At Guilford, Jarrod Robinson had a hat trick with three goals to lift Piscataquis to the win.
Ben Webb scored two goals for 7-6-1 Piscataquis, and Mike Warff and Roy Burdin both added a goal. Ryan Martell stopped nine of 12 shots.
Hiroki Dempo had two goals for 3-10-1 Searsport and Omar Chaar added a goal. Jon Moore made 14 saves on 25 shots.

At Hampden, Martin Earley scored five goals to help Hampden Academy to the victory.
Peter Alexander and Poppy Sankla each had two goals for 13-0-1 Hampden. Nattapong Kongsuriya, Billy Shannon, Andre Cushing, and Sam Drew all scored a goal. Max Silver stopped one of two shots.
Wayne May made nine saves on 22 shots for 1-12-1 Nokomis.

At Hermon, Ben Adams scored two goals to help push Hermon to the victory.
Joey Carmichael and Chris Archer each had a goal for 8-6 Hermon. Ryan Tarr had two assists and Anthony Rowe had one. Corey Stanhope stopped 10 of 11 shots.
Chris St. Lewis scored a goal with 31 minutes left in the second half for 4-8-2 Old Town. Dustin Marley and Stan Petrie combined to make nine saves on 13 shots.

At Orono, Don Shin scored two second-half goals to lift Foxcroft Academy to the win.

At Greenville, Durgin McKusick scored two goals to push Greenville to the win.
Joe Jardine and Kyle Belmont each scored a goal for 13-1 Greenville, and Jonah Lizotte had an assist. Brandon Lavigne made two saves on five shots.
Rosaire Veilleux scored a second-half goal for 8-2 Calvary Chapel of Orrington. Kaleb Carmichael stopped 11 of 33 shots.

At Eastport, Tabitha Hagenaars scored from just outside the 18-yard line with three seconds remaining in the first overtime to even the Dragons’ record at 7-7.
Cindy Burgin made 18 saves for Woodland, and Brittany Cox had 15 saves for the 6-7-1 Tigerettes.

At Mount Desert, Lindsey Gordon tallied twice in the first half to provide all the scoring for the 10-3-1 Golden Bucks.
Keely Sullivan made sure the two were enough as she made seven saves on nine shots.

At Newport, Kimble Rawcliffe scored two goals to help lead Hampden Academy to the win.
Lili Berube scored a goal and had an assist for 10-3-1 Hampden. Annie Lafayette and Michelle Manning both had an assist. Michelle Wells stopped two of three shots.
Rozlyn Peterson made 23 saves on 31 shots for 1-13 Nokomis.

Sarah Anderson scored with 13 minutes left in the first half for 6-8 Foxcroft Academy. Brittany Fadley made one save on three shots.
