I have been friends with Kent Price and his wife, Ann, for six years. I first met Kent at my church in Castine, where he successfully led the church board through a very beneficial renovation project. I also got to know his leadership skills when he chaired the Hancock County Democratic Committee. I’ve served with Kent on the Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust Board.
He commits his time to learn about issues in depth by attending town budget meetings as well as last year’s meetings to plan for the new Waldo-Hancock Bridge. His has a life long commitment to a better education for all our citizens. He has been working in the whole midcoast area from Belfast to Orland to promote economic development.
Because he is retired, he will have the time to be a citizen legislator in Augusta, which is so important for legislators to be able to learn the many details of proposed legislation.
I urge you to vote for this man who will work tirelessly for you.
