The University of Maine-Farmington women’s basketball team was voted first in the North Atlantic Conference preseason poll, while the UMF and Husson men tied for second in their poll.

The UMF women received eight first-place votes and 174 points total, edging Husson which had three first-place votes and 168 points. Maine Maritime was fourth with one first-place nod.

The UMF men earned two first-place votes and the Eagles had one, but both had 75 points. Maine Maritime tied for sixth with Mount Ida.
