FAIRFIELD – Gardiner and Rockland are the winners of the KVAC Cheering Championships for Classes A and B, respectively, Monday. Gardiner won with 78 points while Rockland finished with 73.

In Class A, Oxford Hills came in second with 75 points while Brunswick had 65 and Cony of Augusta scored 60. Next was Medomak Valley of Waldoboro with 58 points and Mt. Blue of Farmington with 53. Winslow was runner-up in Class B with 63 points while Waterville scored 47.
